dejavu
Perhaps some of you may ask, why am I feeling so moody these days.

Well, it's because my ex and I exchanged sms.

Fucks up my whole life and everyday I'm feeling terrible.
I was hurt damn bad.

Just when I managed to get over it, just when I decided not to reply to her text msg.

MY SECONDARY SCHOOL TIME EX-GF msg me.

"Quote Oinkster" No matter WHAT THEY SAY, it will def be an impact to you. Be it good or bad, be it something you expect or not, it will affect you! "Unquote"

SO there she was, as usual, every single word she said hurt me deeply.

Fucking hell ARGHHHHHH...

Where is my Oinkster!!!! :(

I wanna stop my post here. Halfway thru. It's painful to even write about it.

Pussies and Dicks
Read this somewhere. Enjoy.

Pussies think they can just get along with everyone, Reckless, arrogant, stupid Dicks just love to fuck around and the worst, assholes shits on people all the time.

Pussies don't like dicks, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fucks assholes....arseholes who just want to shit on everything.

Pussies may think that they can deal with assholes they way. But the only thing that can fuck an asshole is a dick.A dick with some balls.

The problem with dicks is that sometimes they fuck too much. Or fuck when it isn't appropriate. And it takes a pussy to show them that. But pussies sometimes get so full of shit that they become arseholes themselves:Because pussies are only an inch and a half away from assholes.

fit to commit

Lawrence, you're fit to commit because you've met the right person

Sure, you've been in love before, but it looks like you've really found a match in this one. You've probably been around the block a few times, and you know exactly what's out there. Whether you've had a few heartbreaks or some dating disasters, you know a keeper when you find it.

New Word of the day #001
cognoscente \kon-yuh-SHEN-tee; kog-nuh-; -SEN-\, noun;
plural cognoscenti \-tee\:

A person with special knowledge of a subject; a connoisseur.

However, I thought it well to acquaint myself with the latest scientific thinking, so as not to write a tale that would embarrass me among the cognoscenti.
-- Ronald Wright, A Scientific Romance

In the early 1600s, however, beliefs that decried curiosity and restricted information about the "secrets" of nature to a handful of cognoscenti were under attack.
-- Tom Shachtman, Absolute Zero and the Conquest of Cold

Greenspan, to his credit, tells the truth about what he does, but until now, he has done it in a way that only the cognoscenti can understand.
-- Paul Krugman, "Labor Pains", New York Times Magazine, May 23, 1999

Blogging..
So among the few closest cousins that we have, the famous 5, mongmong, poofie, yy, krachael and yours truly, Yash, of which, I guess I was the first to jump onto the blogging era, follow by mongmong, poofie and now to our latest addition, krachael.

It's amazing that blogging had grown to such a popularity to such extent, even my sis has a blog.

Well, I kinda like that. Just that all I know is I cant do no shit in writing :D

So, anyway, I'm off to do sports again. 5 days of sports in 6 days. :D

Cai Chun Jia - Hu Die

Great Day!
I woke up early this morning just to find there's no NBA showing live on ESPN.
Shucks.. I was so so looking forward the semi finals.

Well, Uncle Meng was driving into JB today, so the couple of us, Yang, Auntie Susan, Popo & me joined in the trip.

Spent quite a bit on geoceries.

I bought a Sushi set, which consist of the vinegar (for making the rice), wasabi, soy sauce, seaweed & the bamboo sticks (for rolling sushi), all for RM33 @ Giant.

I bought extra wasabi as well, in fact, 10 tubes of wasabi to be exact, RM5.19 each, but the cashier merely scanned in 1. So, I pretty much had a 90% discount on it, or it's a buy 1 get 9 free deal. So Shiok.

Milk was the same. I like the Dutch Lady Low Fat milk there, RM4.19 for 1L, buy a pack of 2 and get some yogurt free. The cashier scanned for 1 of the 1L and ignored the rest, so I bought like 5 twin packs and I got a 50% discount. Another Shiokness.

Sunkist Orange was on sale, RM2.99 for 1L, bought about 7L of them for my family.

The food there was fabulous as well, had Stingray, Fried Sotong, Dou Miao, Sambal Kangkong, Steamed Chut Chut, Butter Crayfish. The crayfish there is damn good man. Uncle Meng knows the server there, hence, we got the BIGGEST & Freshest crayfish.

Yummy.

We came back home at about 6.45pm, oh my, it was raining cats and dogs over at JB.

Left for volleyball at Xinmin Secondary at about 7.30pm, had the most tiring game of my volleyball life.
But it was really really good. I played well today as per yesterday and saturday. This day was good, in fact the past 3 days saw my level of standard improving to another notch.

I'm so glad that I'm getting better.

As I made my way back home, my feet sore like mad, I had to walk in tiny small little steps so as not to stress my feet. But seriously, it's all worth it.

Oh ya, another update. My techy-phobia-sis has a blog now. That's so good, I shall use this as a chance to get to know her a little more in depth.

I love my sis. *MUAKS*
Hehe, it's kinda weird, I've never really kissed my sis before.

:D

How spammers bypass GMail Spam Filters
There's no doubt that Gmail spam filters are more effective that Hotmail or Yahoo Mail spam guard. Yet junk email senders have discovered a new workaround to fool the GMail spam filter.

As you would have noticed in the screenshot above, spammer's latest trick is to embed the text in an image with a plain background and send the picture as an attachment. GMail will automatically render the image when you open the message.

Spammer succeeds in his mission. Most of this spam has a .ru domain in the sender's address and try to sell Valium.

You cannot create filters as there's no text inside the email message for the filter to work. Only option is the click the Report Spam button - It removes the spam message from the inbox view and sends alerts the GMail team about the message.

Read this, when you have the time. It's meaningful and it might help you along the way.....
THE INTERVIEW WITH GOD

I dreamed I had an interview with God.

"So you would like to interview me?" God asked.

"If you have the time" I said.

God smiled. "My time is eternity."
"What questions do you have in mind for me?"

"What surprises you most about humankind?"

God answered...
"That they get bored with childhood,
they rush to grow up, and then
long to be children again."

"That they lose their health to make money...
and then lose their money to restore their health."

"That by thinking anxiously about the future,
they forget the present,
such that they live in neither
the present nor the future."

"That they live as if they will never die,
and die as though they had never lived."

God's hand took mine
and we were silent for a while.

And then I asked...
"As a parent, what are some of life's lessons
you want your children to learn?"

"To learn they cannot make anyone
love them. All they can do
is let themselves be loved."

"To learn that it is not good
to compare themselves to others."

"To learn to forgive
by practicing forgiveness."

"To learn that it only takes a few seconds
to open profound wounds in those they love,
and it can take many years to heal them."

"To learn that a rich person
is not one who has the most,
but is one who needs the least."

"To learn that there are people
who love them dearly,
but simply have not yet learned
how to express or show their feelings."

"To learn that two people can
look at the same thing
and see it differently."

"To learn that it is not enough that they
forgive one another, but they must also forgive themselves."

"Thank you for your time," I said humbly.

"Is there anything else
you would like your children to know?"

God smiled and said,
"Just know that I am here... always."

Sony Delivers World's First Full-Function Pocket-Sized PC
SAN DIEGO, May 16 -- Sony Electronics today introduced the VAIO UX Micro PC, placing full-size computer performance in a pocket-sized package.

Weighing just over a pound, the new PC has a Microsoft XP Professional operating system and an Intel Core Solo Ultra Low Voltage CPU for fast processing and long battery life.

The UX model also features a 4.5-inch wide SVGA screen with XBRITE technology for viewing that slides up to expose an integrated keyboard. This allows you to access familiar applications easily in the same way you would on a full-sized computer.

The pocket-sized PC also comes equipped with a stylus and Sony's VAIO touch launcher for quick access to functions frequently used such as Internet access, e-mail, various computer applications, games and music. Just push the launcher button located on the side of the unit.

"This model is an achievement in ingenious design," said Mike Abary, vice president of VAIO product marketing at Sony Electronics in the U.S. "With this pocket PC, you can have the same functionality as your office or home PC in a device that fits in the palm of your hand."

Keeping travelers connected, the new computer incorporates Sony's SmartWi technology, so you can toggle between wireless WWAN, LAN and Bluetooth technology for convenient access to the Internet and e-mail.

WLAN is also available for Wi-Fi connections at home, office or hotspots; Bluetooth technology for peripherals; or WWAN for access to Cingular's nationwide EDGE network, which allows you to connect to the Internet virtually anywhere there is cellular coverage.

The UX model also incorporates two built-in cameras -- one in front for VoIP communication for on-the-go video conferencing and another located on the back for taking photos. A VGA adapter is included to connect the PC to a projector, making it easy to share presentations and spreadsheets with a group.

Security is also a top priority. The VAIO UX PC comes equipped with an integrated biometrics fingerprint sensor, so you do not have to remember passwords. Incorporated G-Sensor shock protection has been added to protect the unit's hard drive and reduces the risk of data loss should it be dropped.

For added convenience, a docking station with three 2.0 USB ports, Ethernet, VGA, iLink IEEE-1394 interface and an AV output comes with the unit, making it easy to connect to peripherals like a full-sized keyboard, display and speakers when back in the office or at home.

The VAIO UX Micro PC will be available in July for about $1,800 and can be purchased online at www.sonystyle.com, at Sony Style stores or at select retailers around the country.

Oceanlab Feat. Justine Suissa - Sirens Of The Sea (Original Above & Beyond Mix)

Above & Beyond - Can't Sleep (Original Mix)

Above & Beyond - Can't Sleep (Maori Remix)

OceanLab feat. Justine Suissa - Sirens of The Sea (A & B Original Mix)

Take my hand, take my hand yeah take my hand
Follow me, follow me yeah let's go
To the sand, to the sand, the purest sand
Into the sea, into the sea yeah let's go

Out beyond the water's edge
Far out past the coral bench
Underneath the diamond dancing lights
Chase the world from far below
Silence sleeping in the glow
Drifting down into the endless night

Take my hand, take my hand yeah take my hand
Follow me, follow me yeah let's go
To the sand, to the sand, the purest sand
Into the sea, into the sea yeah let's go

Leaving reason far behind
Nothing here is cruel or kind
Only your desire to set me free
Let us lie here all alone
Worn away like river stone
Let us be the sirens of the sea

I ... can not ... resist ... your call (x4)

Above & Beyond - Cant Sleep

Four thirty A.M, I'm awake again
Singing to the dark through open eyes
While dreaming I see only you and me
Stuck between desire and compromise

If I said I want you back I'd be a liar
There's nothing left of us to long for anymore
But inside the ashes burns an endless fire
And every night I can't help reaching out for more

And I can't sleep... You're so far away from me
And I can't sleep... And I can't sleep
And I can't sleep... You're so far away from me
And I can't sleep... And I can't sleep

You're leaving me scars scattered in my heart
A road map of all the places you have been
And I can't escape, can't wash this away
Love has burned your mark so deep within

If I said I want you back I'd be a liar
There's nothing left of us to long for anymore
But inside the ashes burns an endless fire
And every night I can't help reaching out for more

And I can't sleep... You're so far away from me
And I can't sleep... And I can't sleep
And I can't sleep... You're so far away from me
And I can't sleep... And I can't sleep

And I can't sleep... You're so far away from me
And I can't sleep... And I can't sleep
And I can't sleep... You're so far away from me
And I can't sleep... And I can't sleep

How To Setup and Use uTorrent
First download and install uTorrent.

http://www.utorrent.com/

Start the program and click preferences.

Click the network tab, now if you use a modem rather than a router put a tick in all the 3 boxes in the upper section and click apply.

If you use a router then untick the randomise port option, as you will need to configure your router to allow incoming and outgoing connections on this port.

In the lower boxes enter approximately 80% of your maximum upload rate and in the maximum download enter your connection speed.

For protocol encryption set enabled and tick allow incoming legacy connections.

Now on your hard drive make a new folder and call it Torrents,(this is where you will save your torrent meta files) NOT your downloads, this keeps them safe in one place if you need to reload or reseed at a future time.

Next make another folder and call it Downloads, within this I create separate folders for movies, music, apps etc, what you do is your choice.

In uTorrent preferences click the folders tab, tick the bottom box,, store .torrent files in , then browse your way to the torrents folder you created on your harddrive, click apply.

Leave the rest as they are then each time you load a new torrent it will ask you where to save it, this allows you to save in the downloads directory you created or any sub directories.

That’s all you need to do, just as simple as. Cool

How To Use BitTorrent - The BitTorrent Post

Why the the BitTorrent Post? Well, for several reasons really, it would help a lot of people out, BitTorrent is great and should be shared, and I have too much free time at work (not really). Many of my friends and co-workers have asked me how to get started on the non-stop bandwagon that is BitTorrent, without having to understand techie words like ’swarm’, ‘peer’, ’seed’ or ‘ratio’. So without further ado, I’d like to get to it.

  • BitTorrent is essentially a protocol, a way two computers can talk to each other, like HTTP (that thing your computer uses to talk to web pages), and you can use it to download files (like movies, games and mp3s) from the internet, and onto your computer. I will go over a quick run through, then explain each part a little more in depth. You are going to need:

    • a program to access the torrent, such as Azureus or uTorrent

    • And a Bit Torrent search engine web site which can search for torrents of the file you want

      • A torrent is a pointer to all the small parts of the file that will make up the complete file once downloaded

    azureus frog
  1. A BitTorrent (BT) client is what makes it possible to access the torrent, and begin downloading the file. There are several different BT clients, the most popular today being Azureus. That is what I will be suggesting here, it works with Windows, Linux and OSX, is simple enough to start out with and leaves you some room to grow and learn (and is also what everyone here uses.) When you head over to the Azureus download page, you’ll notice it first tells you to install something called the JRE. Nothing to fret about, there is a chance you already have it, and the Azureus download page will let you know by saying ‘java detected’ or not. If you don’t have it, no biggie, just go get it, it’s a very simple install.

    • Follow the link on the Azureus download page and download and install the JRE first (if you don’t have it), and Azureus second. Make sure to get the latest release of Azureus.

  2. The Pirate Bay

  3. The second thing you will need to do is find a torrent search engine that’s right for you (in most cases, that’s searching through as many as it takes till you find the file you want.) This is probably the tricky part about BitTorrent. While many people may know that they need a client, it can be hard to find the sites which will link you to the torrent you are looking for. For that reason, I will provide links to the top sites we use to find torrent files:

  4. Search for whatever you are looking for in one of these search engines. In our example, I will search for ‘family guy movie’. So I will go to The Pirate Bay, type in ‘family guy movie’ and hit search. It then brings me to the search results.

    Pirate Bay Search

The thing to focus on at this point is making sure you are getting the right file, as in, make sure the title saying something about what you are looking for (you don’t want to get a TV episode instead of the movie!), and more importantly, make sure you are getting the file from the best available torrent. How do you tell which is the best? By looking at the search results.

    Pirate Bay Search Results

The outlined columns specify what data on the search grid is important (other columns have been cut out of the picture.)

    • Size - This is the size of the file. Make sure you have enough hard disk space before downloading!

    • DL = Downloads - The number of times this file has been downloaded. The bigger this is, usually the better, because if many people have gotten it, it is the popular result. In the picture above, you can see the first search result has more downloads (1082) vs. the second result (630), this would lead me to believe the first result is the best file.

    • SE = Seeds - I know I said you wouldn’t have to understand techie words like this, but bear with me, it’s easy! A seed is simply someone who has 100% of the file, and is sharing it in the torrent. The more seeds the torrent has, the faster it will download. You want to make sure the torrent you are downloading from has at least 1 seed. In the picture above, you can see the first search result has more seeds (9) vs. the second result (3), this would lead me to believe the first result is the best served (fastest downloading) file.

    • LE = Leechers - Also known as ‘Peers’ (I know I said you wouldn’t have to know this either ;) ). A leecher is someone who between 0-99% of the file downloaded, and is including the parts he/she has on the torrent. When you begin downloading a torrent, you will become a leecher until you complete the torrent and seed it. With bit torrent, you become part of the torrent, sharing whatever of the file you have, the moment you become a peer/leecher. Typically, the more leechers, the better, because that means more parts of the file are available for download. In the picture above, you can see the first search result has more leechers (23) vs. the second result (8), this would lead me to believe the first result is the most available (also fastest downloading) file.

So I can conclude that the first torrent returned in the search result is the one I want to download from.

  5. Clicking on the first search result will bring you to the Pirate Bay’s download page. Click ‘Download This Torrent’. This will cause Firefox to ask you if you want to ‘open the file with’ BitTorrent (or Azureus), or if you want to save it to disk. Open the file with BitTorrent (or Azureus).

      Firefox Save
    • If this option is not available for you, select ‘Open With’ and browse to where you installed Azureus (probably c:\program files\azureus\), and select Azureus.exe.

Once open, Azureus, will ask you where you want to save the file.

    Azureus save dialogue

Select where you want to save it, and click save. You will now begin downloading the torrent. The status of the torrent is indicated on the top half of Azureus.

    • The ‘Done’ column indicates what percent of your file is done

    • the ’seeds’ column indicates how many seeds there are for this torrent

    • The ‘peers’ column indicates how many peers there are for this torrent.

    • The ‘Down Speed’ column tells you what your download speed is

When the file is complete, it gets moved to the bottom half of Azureus, and you begin seeding it for the torrent. The file is complete! YAY! Now you can start watching it, installing it, listening to it, etc..

  6. When you are seeding, there is a ‘Share Ratio’ column which indicates how much of the file you have uploaded versus downloaded.

    • Share Ratio = Amount Uploaded / Amount Downloaded

Meaning, if you have just completed downloading a whole file, and begun seeding it, your share ratio will be low. If the total you have uploaded to peers for this file is bigger than the amount you downloaded (file size itself), you get a share ratio of > 1.0. A share ratio of at least 1.0 is typically desired, because this means you have shared back to the torrent as much of the file as you have taken from the torrent. At any time (or once your share ratio reaches 1.0), you may remove the torrent from your seeds list, thereby stopping seeding of it. To remove the seed, right click on it, and click remove.

    Azureus remove seed

And that’s about it! You’ve just learned how to get started on BitTorrent!

hint: To find more torrent search engines, go to Google and search ‘bittorrent search engine’ or ‘torrent saerch’ or something along those lines :)

Call to landlines for free with Skype

Skype on Monday turned the Internet telephony industry on its head by introducing free calling to traditional landline and mobile phones in the United States and Canada through its SkypeOut feature. The move comes just days after Microsoft introduced Windows Live Messenger beta with its calling service.SkypeOut previously charged users per-minute fees for making calls to non-PC users — a business model being adopted by a number of rivals, including Yahoo, AOL and Microsoft. Now, Skype users can call both fellow Skype users and standard phone numbers without being charged until at least December 31, 2006.

International calls will still be charged the standard SkypeOut rates, the company said, which it claims are the lowest in the industry. Skype is hoping the free service will help solidify its position its the market amidst growing competition from the major instant messaging providers and VOIP companies like Vonage. I think this is a great news for all american and canadian citizens. Although not many people use their land lines nowadays and although it works only in the USA and Canada, it’s a good movement in the industry which could be quickly followed by other VoIP companies. May be we will call for free in Europe too within few months…

Zenview Arena: 8 LCD Screens Display
Bill Gates is using multiple monitors in his office to boost productivity. The prototypes showcased at Microsoft Labs in Redmond suggest that five years down the line, the single screen computers will be replaced with Stratech - a monitor so large it partly wraps around the person viewing it.

If you are a Wall Street Analyst or multitasking professional, and can't wait for that long, get one of these Zenview Arena computer LCD screens. The picture belows shows 8 LCD Screens stitched together to form one big computer monitor.

All the individual LCD screens are supplied by Samsung. As they cost a couple of thousand dollars, the company guarantess zero dead pixels.

Zenview displays with ultra-thin screen bezels enable a virtually seamless multi-monitor desktop. Avoiding gaps between monitors, Zenview displays free up desk space normally consumed by individual monitor stands.

Zenview displays offer a natural "surround" curvature that keeps each screen at the same distance from the user, enhancing the ergonomics of multi-monitor use. What's more, the entire screen array can be raised or lowered with a single knob.

The above multi-monitor displays are available for sale at Digital Tigers. Again, money should not be a consideration.

。做错了。。。

Samsung unviled world's slimmest mobile phone.
samsung.jpgSouth Korea’s Samsung Electronics said on Monday it had developed the world’s slimmest mobile phone. The SGH-X820 model is 6.9 millimeters thick and carries a built-in two-megapixel camera while functioning as an MP3 player as well, Samsung Electronics said. The bar-type model will be showcased at an information and technology communications fair this week in Russia, called Sviaz Expocomm 2006, it said.

“The Samsung ‘ultra-slim phone’ has set a record in the mobile handset history by breaking the wall of 7-millimeter thickness for the first time in the world,” the company said. The handsets are scheduled to hit the shelves in Europe this month and in China in June, but pricing details have not been disclosed. Samsung has been slimming down its handsets after its US rival Motorola’s success in marketing its Razr models. Damn, time to upgrade my Motorola MPx220 is coming…

Movie piracy worth $6.1 billion last year
The MPAA released its first comprehensive study of movie piracy late Tuesday, estimating that the major studios lost $6.1 billion last year to bootlegging, illegal copying and Internet piracy. China, Russia, the U.K., France, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Poland and Mexico were the countries where piracy was more prevalent, the MPAA said. The study also found that the average movie pirate is male, age 16-24, and lives in an urban area.

Anyway, MPAA is not laying down their arms - MPAA chairman and CEO Dan Glickman said: We are calling on governments internationally to continue to work with us in limiting the impact of piracy on local economies and the film industry. Movies are a valuable product, and intellectual property must be respected. This study will help us better analyze and focus our efforts to fight movie theft.” MPAA’s effort which escalated into shutdown of world’s biggest eMule server Razorback2 hadn’t have huge impact on file sharers - actually, absolutely nothing has changed and p2p traffic is still increasing. Have you already downloaded some new movie for today? ;)

Combimouse: a little different mouse
Hardware designers are still pretty creative: there’s brand new product called “Combimouse”, which should allow you to get rid of mouse and keyboard and join these two tools together. The design is pretty futuristic and although it will probably save you some movement from keyboard to the mouse and back, I’m not sure whether it may be somehow helpfull. This part with mouse is in my opinion too big and weighs too much to provide you with accure aim in FPS games or just some other software, where it’s important to click exact. This piece of hardware isn’t available to buy thought, because it’s just a first prototype - the producers are in stage of looking for some manufacturer now. You can find more information about this Combimouse at official website
